Every time an electric car is charged, value is created: the government counts that power as renewable energy for transport. You cannot collect that value yourself, only a recognised party registered with the Dutch Emissions Authority can. EEVY is such a party.
To start officially, we first have to show that we represent enough charge points: at least 200. Hence this call. Sign the authorisation and you are one of the first to join, without costs and without obligations. A built-in MID meter (a certified meter in your charger) is not always required: that depends on your metering setup, see step 3 of the form.
In the coming months we complete our registration with the Dutch Emissions Authority. Once that is done, we register your charging power. An independent verifier checks that yearly, and only then does payout follow. Concretely: no money within a few weeks, but you do count from the moment you sign. For the proceeds over 2026 we expect payout in the first half of 2027, depending on how quickly the authority opens our account.
